Rotating diode fault detection device
Introduction:
The brushless excitation generator set is the main characteristic model of Nanjing Steam Turbine Group, which has good reputation and market share at home and abroad. In the brushless excitation generator set, the rotating rectifier part of the generator excitation system rotates with the generator rotor, which makes it difficult to monitor the diode and fast fuse. Its operation state directly determines whether the generator can work normally, so it is very important to monitor it. According to the parameter characteristics of the generator set, combined with the field operation experience of thousands of sets of brushless excitation system in our company, through many experimental accumulation and data analysis, our company has developed the rotating diode fault detection device of the brushless excitation generator. When the rotating rectifier circuit breaks down, the device can timely and reliably output the alarm signal, effectively prevent the further expansion of the accident, and ensure the safe operation of the generator set. working principle:
The fault (short circuit or open circuit) of diode and fast fuse on rotating rectifier panel is detected by measuring the sudden change component in excitation current. When the diode or fast fuse breaks down, the three-phase imbalance of the armature circuit of the exciter will generate the reverse sequence magnetic field, and the stator winding of the exciter will induce the AC component.
When the rotating rectifier panel operates normally, the armature circuit of the exciter is three-phase balanced, the stator winding of the exciter is inductive load, and there is no alternating component in the excitation current. At this time, the device does not output the alarm signal.
When the rotating diode or branch fast fuse is short circuited or open circuited, the three-phase current output by the exciter is unbalanced, and the AC component is induced in the stator current of the exciter, the device will send out an audible and visual alarm and output an alarm signal.
